Please read these booking conditions carefully as they apply to all bookings accepted by Erwins Pacific Travel Pty Ltd. Erwins Pacific Travel Pty Ltd is not itself a transport, tour, event or accommodation provider. It acts only as an agent for those service providers. You should obtain and read the applicable service provider's terms and conditions as they may limit or exclude liability in respect of death, personal injury, delay and loss or damage to baggage. These booking conditions are governed by the laws of Australia and any action arising under them or in any way connected with the holiday may be brought only in a court in Australia, subject to any law which is expressly inconsistent with this.
How to book:
Bookings can only be made with a Licenced AFTA Travel Agent.
Travel insurance:
It is recommended that at time of booking, you consider purchasing a travel insurance policy of your choice.
Health and immigration:
You are responsible for all visa, passport, immigration, quarantine, customs, health and other requirements of Australia and the countries visited or transited. Erwins Pacific Travel Pty Ltd is not responsible for your failure to ensure that you comply with these requirements.
Changes in prices and itineraries
Prices are provided as a guide only and may vary due to peak demand periods, changes in surcharges, fees or taxes or currency fluctuations. Please check all prices and information with your travel consultant before booking. The price of your holiday may change at any time up to 30 days before your departure if any new surcharges, fees or taxes are introduced or if any existing surcharges, fees or taxes are varied, even after you have paid all or part of the quoted price of your holiday. If we have to change any part of your booking for reasons beyond our control, for example, if an airline changes its schedules, if a hotelier overbooks, or if there are any changes in applicable surcharges, fees or taxes, we will notify you. If any such changes result in your holiday costing more or otherwise being materially different, then you may cancel the holiday and we will refund any monies already paid less any charges imposed by suppliers.
Deposits and final payments
A non refundable deposit of $150 per person is payable within 7 business days of confirmation of your reservation. You will be notified at the time of your reservation if any additional deposit requirements apply. Full payment for your holiday package is required at least 30 business days prior to departure, or by date of sale end or payment deadline specified in individual package conditions, whichever is the earliest. If for any reason your balance is not received by us by the due date, we reserve the right to treat your booking as cancelled and to apply the appropriate cancellation charges.
A deposit holds services requested but does not guarantee prices.
Late bookings:
Bookings made within 30 days of departure will only be accepted if full payment is received by Erwins Pacific Travel Pty Ltd at the time of reservation.
Cancellations:
If you cancel or terminate your holiday there will be no refund of your deposit, and
Prior to final payment: There will be no refund of any additional supplier deposit paid.
After final payment: There may be cancellation fees charged by airlines, hotels and ground/cruise operators amounting to all or part of the cost paid.
Alterations:
For any alterations to your package after confirmation, a booking amendment fee will be charged by Erwins Pacific Travel Pty Ltd in addition to any charges levied by third party suppliers and their agents. An alteration means an amendment to an existing booking and not a transfer to another package, when cancellation fees may apply.
Refunds:
To the extent permitted by law, no refund is available for cancellations after holiday package has commenced or in respect of any tours, accommodation, meals or any other services not utilised.
Product descriptions:
Erwins Pacific Travel Pty Ltd makes no specific representation as to the standard, class or description of any accommodation or services provided by third parties Descriptions are based on current hotel guides and information provided by hotels and suppliers. Any facilities shown as included may change at anytime.Maps are shown for general information and may not necessarily reflect actual routings, locations or services provided. Photographs show places in the geographic areas, but may not be included in the holiday.Hotelroom photographs/descriptions are representations, actual rooms occupied may vary .
Baggage:
Please check your travel documents for applicable baggage allowances.
Pre-departure contact:
You must provide a telephone number, email or address where you can be reached, if necessary, at any time prior to your departure from Australia.
Not included in price of holiday:
You are responsible for the cost of your own travel arrangements from your home to and from the departure city. Anything not specifically included in the holiday package is at your expense.
Air travel:
Air travel is subject to the conditions and limitations of liability set out in the airline's conditions of carriage.
Booking arrangements:
The person making a booking will be deemed to have accepted these booking conditions on behalf of everyone named in the booking.
Limit of liability:
To the extent permitted by law, Erwins Pacific Travel Pty Ltd excludes all liability for any loss or damage whatsoever (including but not limited to physical and psychological injury, and loss or damage to property of whatever nature) that may arise in any way in connection with the offer or supply of goods or services through Erwins Pacific Travel Pty Ltd or any third parties, or in connection with the supply of such goods or services. If the law implies a condition or warranty that cannot be excluded, Erwins Pacific Travel Pty Ltd liability for a breach of the condition or warranty will be limited as determined by Erwins Pacific Travel Pty Ltd to the re-supply or payment of the cost of re-supplying the relevant goods or services.
Events beyond our control:
Erwins Pacific Travel Pty Ltd does not accept liability whatsoever for injury, damage, loss, delay, additional expenses or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by any events which are beyond its control including, but not limited to, war, civil disturbance, fire, floods, acts of God, acts of government or of any other authorities, accident to or failure of machinery or equipment or industrial action.
